St Godric's

Year 1 have been learning how to control and program Beebot robots in their computing lesson this week. The children explored how to give clear instructions by using buttons to move the Beebots forwards, backwards and to turn left or right. They planned simple routes, predicted what would happen, and then tested their ideas, learning to debug when things didn’t go as expected. This fun, hands-on activity helped develop their problem-solving skills, logical thinking and teamwork, while building an early understanding of programming.
