Welcome

On behalf of the staff and governors, I am delighted to welcome to the website for St. Godric's Catholic Primary School in Durham.

Our Nursery and Primary School are led by a team of dedicated staff who ensure all pupils are loved, valued and respected as individuals with unique qualities, gifts and talents. Committed to excellence, we provide a purposeful and aspirational curriculum. Our pupils flourish in a caring, inclusive environment.

We believe that each child is a gift from God and it is our aim that every child knows about God's love for us and sees Christ in each other. Valuing the partnerships we have with parents, grandparents, families and the community, we strive to ensure that every pupil grows spiritually, in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. We recognise and celebrate the diverse and individual needs of all our pupils.

Our Values

Through Christ in Partnership, we serve our school community in nurturing pupils to recognise their own light and let their light shine on others.

Committed to excellence, we provide a purposeful and aspirational curriculum. Our pupils flourish in a caring, inclusive environment. Knowing they are loved and respected by God and others, our pupils are proud of who they are and what they achieve.

Letters

We send out letters and newsletters on a regular basis to keep parents up to date with school decisions and progress.

At St Godric's, we keep our parents, carers and families informed about upcoming events and celebrations of our children's successes. We regularly publish a newsletter, which is sent out electronically to all of our parents and is made available on this page. We also use Social media to share the very latest events, learning and religious celebrations that take place within our school.
