Headteacher’s Welcome
A welcome message from our headteacher.

‘Jesus said: I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will have the light of life.’ John 8:12.
On behalf of the staff and governors, I am delighted to welcome to the website for St. Godric’s Catholic Primary School in Durham.
Our Nursery and Primary School are led by a team of dedicated staff who ensure all pupils are loved and valued as individuals with unique qualities, gifts and talents. Committed to excellence, we provide a purposeful and aspirational curriculum. Our pupils flourish in a caring, inclusive environment.
We believe that each child is a gift from God and it is our aim that every child knows about God’s love for us and sees Christ in each other. Valuing the partnerships we have with parents, grandparents, families and the community, we strive to ensure that every pupil grows spiritually, in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. We recognise and celebrate the diverse and individual needs of all our pupils.
If you would like to find out any more information about our Nursery or school, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
