Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Applying for a school place if your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan or a Statement of SEN
Children and young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (or Statement of Special Education Needs) follow a different admission and transfer process for a new school. Please continue to complete Durham County Council’s parental preference form, as part of the admission process to a new school. You continue to have a right to request a particular school and this will be considered alongside the information that we have about your child’s special educational needs. The information would have been provided as part of the Education, Health and Care assessment or following the review meeting.
St. Godric’s Catholic Primary School prides itself in being very inclusive and will endeavour to support every child.
If you have any questions about the SEND Local Offer or the School’s SEND Information Report please contact the school and we will try our best to help you.
Nursery Provision
Our brand new nursery for 3 and 4 year olds is now open! We admit pupils the term after they turn 3; in September, January and after Easter. Depending on availability, we can offer 15 or 30 hour provision. 15 hour is offered either as mornings or 2 1/2 days.
For more information about the process of acquiring a nursery place and to request a tour of our Nursery and school, please contact the office on 0191 3847452 to make an appointment.
To apply for a place, please use the application form below then send it to info@stgd.bwcet.com. If you would prefer a paper copy, this can be collected from and returned to the school office. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
